Our Gatherings
Foster Champs of Washington hosts regular gatherings for caregivers and families. On the first Saturday of every month, caregivers come together for coffee and conversation at a local cafe. Third Thursdays, you’ll find us at the community center having a family dinner and support group or training. We also have occasional outings in the community where organizations are able to host us.
Meeting Tangible Needs
Foster Champs of Washington maintains a large storage unit of supplies for our families. This is includes clothing, shoes, toys, and diapers. When children come into care or get placed with one of our families, we’re able to respond within the first few days with a suitcase or travel bag of clothes and supplies for the youth.
Special Events
Foster Champs of Washington hosts annual events for our families including a Christmas Party, Easter Event, and Back to School Event. In tandem with these events, families pick up holiday presents, backpacks, shoes, and other needed items donated to Foster Champs through our donation drives.
